‘My name is Marina. I am 25 and I am from Italy. I was working as an au pair in a village near Carlow and I was studying at English Language Ireland during my time there. At the beginning I felt like a student but then I felt part of a big family. I met a lot of people and I made most of my friends there. Everybody in the school was really kind and helpful. They organised a lot of activities and trips. For us it was a great opportunity to get to know Ireland and the Irish culture. I am glad to have been a student there. ‘As a part-time student, I studied at English Language Ireland from May to October 2015. I can only find positive words for this time and I remember a lot of great moments. The teachers of the advanced class helped me to prepare well for my Cambridge exam that I passed in October. Everybody is always friendly and helpful – not only during the classes. Also in the break time it is like a big family – and a lot of activities like trips, dancing or drinking in a pub help the students to become good friends. The time was flying and I felt so bad saying goodbye to everybody. I made a lot of friends from all over the world – and at the same time I could improve my English.
