12 Dec Hyderabad by Aaisha
Hyderabad is the capital of southern India. It has a population of about 7.75 million, it is the fourth most populated city ion the region. It has many extremely beautiful places to see but also shops and restaurants which have a really nice atmosphere.
Here are some of my pictures of places I visited in Hyderabad and some information about the area’s most popular places.
Charminar was built in 1591. Its historical name is ‘Qutb Shahi’ which means ‘Sultan Mohamed’. Because of the beauty of Charminar this landmark became a global symbol of Hyderabad.
- Ramoji Film City
This is the largest integrated film city in the world. It is also a popular tourism and recreation centre. It contains both natural and manmade attractions including an amusement park.
- Begum Bazar
They named this market after a past East Indian president’s wife, Begum. It is the biggest commercial market in Hyderabad. It was established during the Qutb Shahi rule. It also hosts the second biggest fish market of Hyderabad.
It’s a very nice city, there are many gorgeous places to visit. I can’t go everywhere but I will definitely return to Hyderabad when I am next in India, and you should too!
